The North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors, and the General Assembly of NC, made amendments for when permits are required. If the project is under $20,000 dollars and does not require structural work, no permit is required. In all cases, a sunroom will require structural work. Also, if your project is more than $40,000 dollars, not only do you need a permit, but you must also have a licensed general contractor do the work. Don't worry, Kali Enterprises, LLC will handle all aspects of the permitting process.

That is a great question! So, the short answer is yes but it will depend on the existing structure i.e. age, the current framing being able to support the new roof load, etc. The bottom line is this, when you work with us, we will move mountains, to get you closer to your dream space!!
